The recently unveiled JL Bedsole Sports Performance Center is a 4,000 square-foot facility that replaces the university's 35-year-old training facility will help bring the all of the university athletic training programs into modern times. It was funded mainly though grants and donations.
The new facility is expected to support the more than 400 student athletes attending the University of Mobile.
The sports center features strength and conditioning space, a nutrition room, and other amenities.
